Little Known Box August 2016*

When I was contacted by Little-Known Box to review one of their boxes, how could I say no. I love Subscription boxes and have seen their box over on the Which Beauty Box blog.

So who are Little-Known Box?
They are the Uk's newest luxuries beauty subscription box, that have been around for only 4 months! Each month they send you 5-6 beauty products covering makeup, skincare and nail products. They offer one off subscriptions or you can by 3-12 months in advance.

The one off cost is £14.95 including postage, which is the same cost as many other boxes such as My Little Box and Glossybox. So in my eyes this is pretty reasonable.

They are a passionate team, that aim to bring you closer to upcoming and independent brands. I love that the name represents what they are all about, which is to introduce you to little-known brands, to top all that off they carefully selected each item every month. They aim to stick to a small niche of products that are natural and organic, vegan friendly, cruelty free and free from, which keep to their ethic belief's.

The products range from full to luxurious sample sizes. Even though you may see well known brands, those items will be newly launched and therefore little-known.

They work on a month by month basis, so if you sign up you will receive a selection of carefully chosen products straight to your door.

Let's get on to the good stuff, what did Augusts box contain? Five full size products!

Glitter Eyes Pressed Glitter, R.R.P £5.99. Even thought I am not one for glittery eye shadow, I love the concept behind this. A pressed glitter shadow, which can be applied just like regular eye shadow. There was even a little look after me postcard, which detailed ways in which to keep your glitter together and how put it back together should it break apart. This colour is Mocha Shine and would be perfect for any night out look. You can get 10% off using the code littleknownbox over at www.glittereyes.co.uk.

Amygdala Beauty Solid Fragrance in Iris, R.R.P £8.00. The idea of a solid perfume is great to me, and is so easy to take with you wherever you go. It  is also really hard to break unlike glass perfume bottles. The only downside to this particular fragrance is that I found it to be an elderly scent, so have since given it to my Nan. That's not to say that everyone will feel the same, it's just my opinion.   You can get 10% off using code LKBOX10 over at www.amgyadalabeauty.co.

Bardou Immaculate Spray Dry Shampoo, R.R.P £12.00. Dry Shampoo's are a must in my routine, I am on the path to longer hair and to get that, you cannot wash you hair more than 2 times a week. I tried out this dry shampoo this week and have to say it is one of the better ones. it doesn't leave your hair feeling tacky with residues of oil, it actually makes your hair feel and look fresh. You can get 25% off using code LITTLEKNOWN25 over at www.thebardou.com.

PHB Beauty Natural & Organic Black Eyeliner, R.R.P £8.95. This eyeliner is pretty good and on par with most eyeliners. I wore it on the lids of my eyes and in the lower water line and found that it withstood my day to day activities. The colour is very highly pigmented too, which is great for any look. You can get 35% off with code LKB35 over at www.phbethicalbeauty.co.uk.

Fairypants Vegan Lip Balm, R.R.P £3.99. Every girl/ woman need lip balm in their life, we are forever forsaking our lips when we often use them as a focal point on our face. I always moisturise my lips when ever I am not wearing lipstick and especially so in the evenings before bed. This little pot is a treasure, it smells so sweet and is easy to apply with the added bonus of being super moisturising. You can get 15% off orders over £10.00 using code littlebox, over at www.fairypants.co.uk.

If you want to sign up to Little Known Box then head over there now and get 10% off until the end of September using code KIM10.
