When I was offered the chance to review this Duo, I couldn't say no. Especially with my growing need to grow my hair long and luscious, so anything that can help aid that is a bonus to me.
This Paul Mitchell Super Strong Duo retails for £26.90 and can only be bought from a professional distributor. I found this set on Feelunique, as I discovered that to purchase from Salon Success you have to have a hair professional account.
This duo is aimed at hair that has been damaged by chemicals, the environment or heat. They work together to rebuild and replenish your hair, leaving your hair shiny, soft and luxurious.
The shampoo deeply penetrates into the hair to help rebuild each strand, it gently cleanses away dirt and grease to prevent further damage.
The conditioner is infused with sun protection and helps to preserve fibre strength and protect surface proteins and lipids.
I tend to only wash my hair once a week and therefore go for a hair care system that actually cares for your hair whilst leaving it clean and refreshed. This duo does exactly what it promises and more. I found that where I washed my hair on a Sunday, I didn't need to use dry shampoo until the Thursday! That is pretty good, considering I walk/ run a lot along with a shower every night.
I found that my hair was indeed super soft and really looked so healthy and beautiful.
The only thing to note is that if you have adverse reactions to wheat/ gluten then you shouldn't use this set. I luckily only get a reaction if I actually consume gluten and I cant see myself scoffing shampoo/ conditioner.
Overall these are certainly worth the price tag!
