Spectrum 10 Piece Essential Brush Set*

When I was offered the chance to review Spectrum's make-up brushes I couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I opted for the 10 piece essential set, named the Attention Seeker. These are part of the Unicorn range, with many more sets or single brushes available.

I love the disclaimer on the website, stating 'No Unicorns were harmed in the making'. They are true to their word and are a vegan and cruelty free brand, that make their brushes from high quality synthetic hairs.

This set retails for £39.99, which for the quality and quantity in this set is completely justifiable.

The set consists of the following best selling brushes, each with their own essential use:

B03 - Buffing Concealer
A06 - Large Fluffy Shader
B06 - Tall Tapered Blender

I love that I finally have a Lip Liner Brush, I have been after one for a while and was elated when I got one in this set. It is so soft and easy to use and applies my lipstick perfectly.

 

The handles are made from a very sturdy wood, however are so highly polished with pink you would never know. I would recommend this set to anyone that puts a lot of effort into their make-up routine as this set can accommodate almost all situations, from smokey eye to simple contouring.

The fact that the fibres are so soft, this set is perfect for literally any skin type, it's so nice to use a brush that doesn't feel scratchy at all.
